Assembly & Installation Policy
At Zenya Living, many of our products—including pergolas, gazebos, and outdoor furniture sets—require assembly and proper installation.
This page provides important guidelines to ensure safe and correct product setup.
By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and agree to follow these assembly and installation guidelines.
1. General Assembly Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Reading all included instructions carefully before starting assembly
- Ensuring all parts and hardware are present before installation
- Following step-by-step assembly instructions provided with the product
- Using appropriate tools and safety equipment
- Ensuring adequate space and assistance during assembly
Improper assembly may result in:
- Product damage
- Reduced structural stability
- Safety hazards
- Warranty limitation or voiding (in cases of misuse or incorrect installation)
2. Recommended Installation Assistance
Due to size and weight, we strongly recommend that:
- Smaller furniture items be assembled by at least 1–2 adults
- Large furniture sets, pergolas, and gazebos be assembled by 2–4 adults or a professional installation team
Installation of large structures should never be attempted alone.
3. Pergola & Gazebo Installation Requirements
For all pergola and gazebo structures, proper installation is critical for safety and performance.
Customers must ensure:
- The structure is installed on a stable, level surface
- All anchoring points are securely fastened to the ground or foundation
- All structural components are tightened according to instructions
- The product is installed in accordance with provided diagrams
Failure to properly install or anchor the structure may result in:
- Structural instability
- Wind-related movement or damage
- Collapse or safety risks
Zenya Living is not responsible for damages resulting from improper installation or failure to secure the structure properly.
4. Ground Anchoring Requirement
Pergolas and gazebos must be securely anchored using appropriate hardware.
Anchoring is required to ensure:
- Wind resistance
- Structural stability
- Safe long-term use
If anchoring is not completed correctly, any resulting damage will not be covered under warranty.
5. Weather and Environmental Considerations
Outdoor structures are designed for normal residential weather conditions.
However, customers must take precautions during extreme conditions.
This includes:
- Removing excessive snow buildup from pergolas or gazebos
- Securing or protecting furniture during severe storms or hurricanes
- Avoiding use during unsafe weather conditions
Damage caused by extreme weather events is not considered a manufacturing defect.
6. Tools and Equipment
Depending on the product, customers may need basic tools such as:
- Screwdrivers
- Wrenches
- Rubber mallets
- Power tools (optional but helpful for larger structures)
- Ladder (for pergolas/gazebos)
Tools are generally not included unless explicitly stated in the product listing.
7. Missing or Incorrect Parts
If any parts are missing or appear incorrect:
- Do not begin assembly immediately
- Contact us at info@zenyaliving.com
- Provide your order number and photos if possible
In most cases, replacement parts can be shipped quickly without requiring product return.
8. Do Not Modify the Product
Customers should not modify, alter, or customize structural components.
This includes:
- Drilling additional holes
- Cutting metal or HDPE parts
- Changing structural support elements
- Using non-original replacement hardware
Unauthorized modifications may affect safety and void warranty coverage.
9. Professional Installation Option
Customers may choose to hire professional installers for large or complex products.
Zenya Living does not provide installation services directly and is not responsible for third-party installation work.
Any costs associated with professional installation are the responsibility of the customer.
10. Product Safety Notice
Improper assembly or installation may result in:
- Injury
- Property damage
- Structural failure
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe installation conditions.
If you are unsure about installation steps, we recommend contacting a qualified professional.
